There are things in life larger and more important than "winning" a public office. <BR/><BR/>I think a huge problem in Hawaii politics is thinking that winning is everything -- or the only thing, and that manner of thinking discourages people from involvement and participation in authentic community/civic life.<BR/><BR/>A lot of people will do anything to win -- lie, cheat and steal, so that when they do win the office, they can't tell the difference between right and wrong, good and bad, but are crazed by the power.<BR/><BR/>It would have been better if they hadn't be born.Mike Huhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12013523987628611883noreply@blogger.com
